From the Mediterranean

. . .to the Caribbean. Perhaps not so impressive as Meditteranean villas, this Caribbean plantation is nonetheless very pleasing. It is not so grand, yet it is perhaps a little more homey. There is something about a veranda that is automatically comforting. Makes you think of rocking chairs, iced tea, coffee, and long drowsy evenings. And of course, the one essential element is still much in evidence--cool, blue, blessed water. :)

But it's so pink!

You're right, Alaina. It is very pink. I guess it doesn't bother me though. I've been used to the thought of living in pink houses. My mother lived in a very pink house about that size when she was growing up in India.
